OPAL - Outdoor Play and Learning

Our school believes that all children need opportunities to play that allow them to explore, manipulate, experience and affect their environment. Our children experience adventurous outdoor play every day through our commitment to OPAL play strategies and principles.

The Beehive

The Beehive: Nurture & Inclusive Provision at Wookey At Wookey Primary School, we are proud to be a fully inclusive setting. We believe that inclusion is not simply physical presence in a room, it is about a genuine sense of belonging. The Beehive is our small-group nurture setting designed to build safety, secure strong learning foundations, and ensure no child leaves Wookey without the skills to thrive.

Wellbeing

We prioritise wellbeing for our whole school community. We run a Wellbeing Action Group made up of children, staff, governors and parents to ensure we meet the needs of as many members of our community as possible.
