At Wookey Primary School, we are proud to have our own preschool class called Little Acorns, on site and integrated within the school. Originally an independently managed playgroup, we have been inspiring the youngest members of our community to learn, laugh and grow for over 30 years. Now, our curriculum is written so that the learning, values and language used in our preschool are being integrated into our plans in the main school, ensuring children's progress is planned and monitored from the day they start with us.

The children at Little Acorns use our playground, join us for our weekly celebration assemblies and enjoy reading with our older children every day. They are very comfortable in school with the environment, people and systems by the time they begin in Rowan class.

We offer places from 2 years old, with our settling-in period tailored to meet each child's individual needs.
