This time it was Oak class who were able to take part in an 'animal encounters' session with some of the keepers from Longleat and a number of their animal friends! The children learnt about and met face to face with

• African Land Snails
• Hissing Cockroaches
• Giant Prickly Stick Insects from Australia
• Pancake Tortoises
• Pythons
• A Chilean Tarantula

We all had a brilliant time, and we particularly enjoyed the opportunity to handle the animals. Thank you to the keepers from Longleat and to Mrs Anderton from Millfield School for allowing us to take part in the session.
